After I get the bulk of the surface rust off ill be throwing on a wool polishing pad and some Meguiar's. So far I'm just scrubbing the absolute hell out of it with some CLR and a Scotch-Brite pad. Problem is once this is al done the old patina look will be ruined. Like the title suggests I'm trying to get one of those sweet patina paint jobs on my old truck. This 66 is a perfect modern-day cruiser hiding under original looking sheet metal and Patina. I love how it looks right now but the problem is I want to chop it 2", section the cab and doors 4", section the hood 2", section the front fenders 2" and shorten the bed about 6" then place teh cab right on the running boards.
